Three great musicians, three worlds come together for a concert as free as it is inventive. On drums, Franck Agulhon, a major figure on the French jazz scene. A virtuoso and expressive rhythmist, he has accompanied artists as diverse as Michel Legrand, Biréli Lagrène, Henri Texier and Erik Truffaz. He infuses this trio with a fine, precise energy that's always on the move. On bass, Gilles Coquard, a musician with many faces, capable of moving from a deep groove to a delicate melodic line. Collaborator with Claude Nougaro, Didier Lockwood, Véronique Sanson and the group Sixun, he brings a solid, sensitive foundation to the ensemble. And on guitar, Yannick Robert, instigator of this singular project. Renowned for his unique, fluid and lyrical touch, he develops here an original approach to the repertoire, between respect for melody and freedom of interpretation. In this trio, familiar pieces become playgrounds. In the manner of molecular cuisine, themes are deconstructed, transformed and then recomposed to offer a new, sensitive reading of songs from all horizons: Pop, rock, blues, French songs, film music... There are no boundaries here: freedom is the order of the day, improvisation is king, and every note resonates with daring. A concert to be experienced as a sonic exploration, carried by three musicians in total complicity, to rediscover the unexpected at the heart of the familiar.
