From 7 to 22 October, the Baiser Salé Jazz Club is taking part in the JAZZ-SUR-SEINE Festival, organised by the PARIS JAZZ CLUB association in partnership with ADAMI.
Opening at the club on 7 and 8 October will be André Ceccarelli and his 1997 album WEST SIDE STORY, a tribute to Leonard Bernstein's masterpiece that literally shaped his adolescence.
He will be followed by the Canonge / Zenino duo; Etienne Mbappé & The Prophets for 3 days of jazz fusion with a melodious, lilting groove; two young pianists from Martinique to keep an eye on: Clélya Abraham and Xavier Belin as part of their #JazzDeDemain residency; the Latin jazz of Gabriel Bismut and Maurizio Minardi; the sensitive vocal jazz of Tifen; the Soul Cages Trio led by guitarist Yannick Robert; trumpeter Roman Reidid's very first project; the warm, neo-soul vocals of Körinn; and jam sessions every Monday and Sunday!
And let's not forget the SHOWCASES EVENING, with free admission all along rue des Lombards on 11 October, from 7pm, with the Baiser Salé:
- 7.30pm: Olga Amelchenko and her new project Helicon
- 8.30pm: Rémi Panossian Trio and his RP3
- 9.30pm: Jeanne Michard Quintet
